no longer have to schedule a doctor visit or wait for a health fair to
find out about your cholesterol, glucose or vitamin D levels. These
screenings are provided every Friday from 8:00 a.m. to Noon at United
General Hospital. No appointment is required, simply come into the main
lobby and let the receptionist know you would like to have a health
screening. Checks, cash and credit cards are accepted.
CHOLESTEROL: Full lipid profile, $15. A 12-hour fast is required; water and medications okay. Results mailed to you and/or your doctor.
GLUCOSE: Included with Cholesterol Screening at no extra charge. Results mailed to you and/or your doctor.
BLOOD PRESSURE: While you're in the lobby, take advantage of our free, conveniently located blood pressure machine.
