Director: Mark Pearson, MS, MES, CSCS, ACLS
Mark has been helping people achieve their health and fitness goals for the last twenty years. He received his Bachelor of Science (BS) from Northern Arizona University and his Master of Science Degree (MS) from Western Washington University. Mark has additional certification as a Certified Medical Exercise Specialist (MES), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS); and Certified Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Hobbies: Tennis, golf, basketball, hiking, and playing sports or being active with his family.
Nutritionist: Barbara Sutton, MOEd, RD, CD
Barbara has been working in the field of Nutrition for over thirty years. She received her BS in Nutrition from the University of New Hampshire as well as her Master's Degree in Occupational Education. Barbara is a Registered Dietitian, and is state certificated.
Hobbies: Gardening (food as well as flowers), bike ride, kayak, hike, and will try most any outdoor activities. Barbara likes to cook, using local fresh foods whenever she can.
Business Development Assistant: Nicole Paterson
Nicole has been doing administrative work for almost 20 years in a variety of fields (aerospace industry, banking, insurance, and non-profit). She joined our hospital staff in October 2008 as an Assistant for our Fitness & Wellness Programs, Patient Services Development, and Communications & Development Departments.
Though Nicole is not a native of Washington she considers herself a Washingtonian. She loves to travel, go site seeing, take nature pictures and spend time with her family.

Lynne McNett
Lynne has taught Yoga for over 25 years to kids and adults in Skagit and Whatcom Counties. With down-to-earth energy and practicality, she teaches a solid and safe approach to alignment, balance, flexibility, and strength while providing customized challenges and adaptations for all levels of ability.
